Since a belief in a biblical God finds no support in our growing scientific understanding of the world, Intelligent Design theorists invariably stake their claim on the areas of scientific ignorance. (Page 72) To the contrary, many well respected contemporary scientists (Owen Gingerich of Harvard, Francis S. Collins, Hubert Yockey for example ) support the belief in a Biblical God. Also, look at Isaac Newton’s views on the matter, which completely contradict Harris’ statements (See the answer to number 17 above). Newton felt his scientific discoveries were demonstrations of the existence of God.
